Prof. Tianshou Zhao receives the 2018 Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement

Prof Tianshou Zhao attended the prize presentation ceremony at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, Beijing on 6 Nov, 2018

Cheong Ying Chan Professor of Engineering and Environment Prof Tianshou Zhao, Chair Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Director of HKUST Energy Institute, combines his expertise in research and technological innovation with a commitment to creating clean energy production and storage devices for a sustainable future. He has made seminal contributions in the areas of fuel cells, advanced batteries, multi-scale multiphase heat and mass transport with electrochemical reactions, and computational modeling. He recently has received the 2018 Ho Leung Ho Lee Prize for Scientific and Technological Advancement. 

The Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation (HLHL) is founded in 1994 with the generous support by The S.H. Ho Foundation Limited, Dr. Leung Kau-kui, Dr. Ho Tim, and Wei Lun Foundation Limited in Hong Kong. The foundation annually bestows prizes upon excellent Chinese scholars in science and medical fields. Over 1250 scholars has been recognized for this prize in the past 23 years.
